Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring tasks, and execute system testing to secure advanced platforms.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD 8570 IL Level II/III certification, with prior DoD/Navy system experience. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $156,000 annually, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
Two (2) of five years on Combat Weapons Systems experience in Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt or similar Navy systems; DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II/III certification or equivalent.
Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
Document systems from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio.
Derive CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
Research and recommend secure logical/physical solutions to achieve certification.
Apply DISA STIGs and DoD recommendations.
Identify gaps between built specs, security requirements and policies and propose remediation.
Perform vulnerability tests with ACAS and similar IA tools.
Plan, execute and document risk assessments against vulnerabilities.
Lead ISSO activities for information systems.
