Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and test security controls on cutting-edge systems.

This role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Navy combat systems experience. The position anticipates funding in December 2026 and offers a strong compensation package, ESOP, 401(k), and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems.
• IAT II or III certification if performing as ISSO/ISSE.
• Solid understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and the ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system configurations from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio.
• Derive CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
• Research and recommend secure, compliant solutions for certification and accreditation.
• Apply DISA STIGs and DoD recommendations to systems.
