Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on crafting RMF A&A artifacts, continuous monitoring, and testing to secure DoD systems while collaborating with a growth-oriented, employee-owned team.

The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DoD policy expertise, and hands-on experience with vulnerability testing and security engineering across naval systems.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five years general security engineering experience.
• Two of the five years of engineering experience on Combat Weapons Systems (Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, etc.); DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II/III.
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using Office tools.
• Apply STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Lead ISSO for security matters related to information systems.
• Perform vulnerability tests using ACAS and other IA tools.
