SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to secure cutting-edge systems.

Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship are required. The role anticipates funding in December 2026 and offers growth in a team that values collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering on Navy afloat/tactical systems or five years general security engineering.
• Two of the five years on Combat Weapons Systems (Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt) and DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III if ISSO/ISSE.
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and clear written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity A&A artifacts.
• Document system CONOPS and cybersecurity requirements.
• Perform vulnerability testing with ACAS and other IA tools.
• Lead ISSO activities and be the focal point for security matters.
• Plan and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply STIGs and NSA guidance to combat systems.
