Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Control Representative to support projects at Dyess AFB.

The on-site COR monitors contractor performance, enforces contract requirements, and ensures construction quality from pre-construction through closeout. Responsibilities include inspecting activities, reviewing submittals and RFIs, maintaining records, coordinating with engineers and stakeholders, and supporting project closeout and warranty tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years overseeing large, complex construction projects.
• Experience on federal DoD/USACE projects preferred.
• Ability to review drawings, specs, schedules, and quality assurance plans.
• Proficient with RMS 3.0 or equivalent CM software.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for compliance with plans, specs, and safety rules.
• Perform daily site inspections and document progress, safety observations and manpower levels.
• Monitor schedules and notify team of delays or performance concerns.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, QC plans, safety plans, and environmental plans.
• Participate in RFIs and coordinate responses with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract issues.
• Conduct QA inspections across all construction phases and verify 3-phase QC compliance.
• Assist with scopes of work, estimates, and contract modifications.
• Review payment requests and assist with partial and final estimates.
• Ensure OSHA and EM 385-1-1 compliance and safety plans are followed.
• Maintain project records and site documentation.
• Support meetings, progress reviews, and site visits.
• Assist with closeout, punch-lists, turnover docs, and warranty tracking.
