Job summary

Hydrostor is seeking a experienced Construction Document Controller for our Willow Rock project in Kern County, CA. You will manage on-site document control, IFC drawings, RFIs and NCRs, ensuring controlled information is used in construction operations.

This hands-on role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, collaboration with EPC contractors, and a solid understanding of ISO 9001 and regulatory records. Daily site presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of document control experience on engineering or construction projects.
• On-site construction document control experience is required.
• Experience handling RFIs, NCRs, field change notices, and as-built redlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site drawing register and issue IFC drawings to field.
• Coordinate with office control team on reviews and approvals.
• Log field RFIs, NCRs, change notices, and deviations to ensure timely closure.
• Collect and route as-built redlines to the engineering team for integration.
• Support Quality team with document management and inspections.
• Maintain regulatory and environmental records at site, including permit postings.
