Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable energy? Hydrostor, a pioneer in Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage (A-CAES) systems, is seeking a Document Controller to join our growing Denver team. We’re enabling the energy transition to a cleaner, more reliable electricity grid, and invite you to be at the forefront of this groundbreaking journey.
Our cutting-edge A-CAES technology is uniquely positioned to revolutionize the energy landscape. Join us as we lead the way in shaping a greener, more sustainable future.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Document Controller to be based at our Willow Rock construction site in Kern County, California. Willow Rock is a 500 MW A-CAES facility delivered through three EPC contractors alongside a number of direct equipment contracts, with partial financing from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Reporting to the Information Manager with day-to-day direction from the Construction Director, you will be the person on site who ensures the field is building from current, controlled information, and that everything the field produces is captured, controlled, and retrievable. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role offering the opportunity to establish construction document control practices on Hydrostor’s first North American construction project.
We are seeking a practical, detail‑oriented document control professional who is genuinely at home on a construction site. You would rather walk out and collect a document than send a third email about it, and you are comfortable being the person who insists on the correct revision when everyone is in a hurry. You know the difference between a rule worth bending under schedule pressure and one that is not. This role requires direct daily interaction with contractor supervision, craft, and multidisciplinary project teams, making resilience, sound judgment, and clear communication essential for success.
At Hydrostor, we know that fostering an inclusive workplace, which values diversity, inclusion, and belonging is paramount to our success.
To fulfill our mission, our goal is to attract people who come from all backgrounds and walks of life, who bring diverse perspectives with wide‑ranging experiences, and who share in our common passion to drive innovation and change the global energy landscape.
Hydrostor proudly embraces the principles of equal opportunity and inclusion. We are committed to providing opportunities for all employees and candidates. We ensure that all qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, creed, color, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, parental, pregnancy, citizenship status, veteran status, disability, or any other protected status protected by applicable law.
Hydrostor is committed to making our application and interview process accessible to everyone, and we encourage applications from people with disabilities. If you require reasonable accommodation at any stage, please contact us at careers@hydrostor.ca. In your application, we welcome you to specify your preferred pronouns (e.g. she/her/hers, he/him/his, they/them/theirs, etc.).
