Job summary

Accurate Courier Services, Inc. in Cincinnati seeks a dependable Communications Specialist for our National Customer Communication Department. The role blends customer communication, quality assurance, and dispatch coordination to keep deliveries moving in a fast-paced environment.

You will answer client and driver calls, process orders, perform QA checks, monitor routes, and resolve issues to ensure accurate, timely deliveries. Entry level; training provided; on-site schedule with some overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year in customer service, dispatch, logistics, call center, or similar.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
• Problem-solve and make real-time decisions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficient with computers; basic Excel knowledge.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality; overtime willingness.
• Medical courier/dispatch experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming client and driver calls, enter orders, and provide delivery updates.
• Review and process routed and on-demand delivery orders.
• Complete Quality Assurance checks to identify missing, incorrect, or incomplete information.
• Monitor active routes and deliveries for delays, missed stops, or issues.
• Assign and coordinate on-demand orders with drivers based on location and timing.
• Communicate with drivers regarding assignments, pickups, delays and issues.
• Identify problems early and take action to keep deliveries on track.
• Investigate delivery issues and gather information to resolve them.
• Coordinate with Operations and teammates when escalation is needed.
• Handle client concerns professionally and elevate issues when appropriate.
• Assist with service recovery when a delivery does not go as planned.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer, driver, order, and delivery information.
• Follow established procedures with good judgment in unexpected situations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, drivers, coworkers, and Operations teams.
