Job summary

RHA Health Services, Cleveland, NC seeks a Direct Support Program Manager to supervise Direct Support Professionals, manage operations, staffing and budgets for assigned facilities, and ensure compliant service delivery.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, support development of person-centered plans, and participate in on-call coverage to meet patient needs and maintain quality assurance across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience with people with developmental disabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a system for assuring integration of basic developmental care and programming services
• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations, staffing and budget of assigned facilities
• Interviews and hires Direct Support Professionals
• Assists with creating employee schedules ensuring adequate staffing coverage
• Works closely with clinical staff to maintain communication and standardize procedures
• Provides shift coverage in times of acute shortages of direct support staff
• Assists in Quality Assurance processes and Mealtime/Environmental/Interaction/Third Shift Assessments
• Interviews, hires, coaches and terminates employees as needed
