Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Program Manager for regular employment. The role oversees direct support staff, manages operations and staffing, and collaborates with clinical teams to implement person-centered plans.

A strong emphasis on on-call coverage and after-hours support is required. The position requires at least a high school diploma, one year in developmental disabilities, excellent communication, and flexibility for on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to provide on-call coverage.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a system for assuring integration of basic developmental care and programming services.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations, staffing and budget of assigned facilities.
• Interviews and hires Direct Support Professionals
• Assists with creating employee schedules ensuring that there is always adequate staffing coverage.
• Works closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plans.
• Provides shift coverage in times of acute shortages of direct support staff.
• Provides on call coverage for people supported they support and services as needed.
• Provides after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation
• Interviews, hires, coaches and terminates employees as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
