Job summary

RHA Health Services is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to oversee residential facilities and supervise Direct Support Employees. The role includes scheduling, interviewing, hiring recommendations, training, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

You will provide after-hours coverage as part of rotation, monitor staff performance, and help implement supports per Individual Support Plans to help people achieve personal outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree in a health-related area preferred.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus.
• Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages residential homes/facilities as assigned.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support Employees.
• Works assigned time in the residential home/facility.
• Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure employees meet training requirements and attend required events.
• Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation.
• Monitor and provide feedback to employees in interactions with the people supported.
• Ensure a clean and maintained home and yard for the people supported.
• Assist in implementing services and supports per Individual Support Plan.
• Carry out the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional.
