Job summary

Cummins is seeking an On-Site Resident Diesel Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and complete less complex repairs at a Mesa, AZ customer site. You will serve as the primary customer contact, perform engine maintenance, and maintain thorough service records while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a current license, driving eligibility, a clean MVR, and willingness to participate in random drug testing. Local licensing for export controls may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current valid license required.
• 18+ years old with 2 years driving experience.
• 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
• FTA random and pre-employment drug testing is required; random drug/alcohol testing.
• Licensing for export controls or sanctions regulation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes complex on-site engine repairs at customer location.
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted.
• Diagnoses using engine diagnostic software.
• Maintains detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adheres to Cummins health, safety and environmental policies.
