Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and complete less complex engine repairs at customer sites in the United States (New Mexico, Hobbs).

Responsibilities include engaging customers professionally, preparing parts and tools, performing preventative maintenance, and escalating complex issues as needed. The role requires 2+ years of diesel engine or heavy-duty repair experience, ability to read manuals and use diagnostic tools, and a valid CDL/driver’s permit.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems in the field.
• 2+ years of diesel engine or heavy-duty equipment repair experience.
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics and diagnostic info.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and completes less complex engine repairs at customer sites.
• Communicates with customers professionally and documents work performed.
• Maintains service vehicle and tools; follows safety policies.
