Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Detroit, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, on-site position supports elementary to high school students with communication needs.

You will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists. Compensation ranges from $55 to $70 per hour, with guaranteed hours and a 37.5-hour

Qualifications

Must hold a Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Michigan SLP licensure and school-based certification/credential.
Experience working with children, preferably in schools; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups.
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals.
Support AAC users when appropriate.
Complete documentation and progress reports.
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and reevaluation meetings.
