Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based role in Dearborn, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is on-site with 36–38 hours per week, paying $55–$70 per hour, based on experience.

The school year runs August 2026–May 2027, with guaranteed hours and comprehensive support from both the district and TheraPeds Partners. The role involves direct therapy, evaluations, IEP development and monitoring, data-driven progress,

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for Michigan SLP licensure and MDOE school credential.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF-SLP candidates may be considered with supervision.
• Experience with children; school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data.
• Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families.
• Support AAC and other communication needs as appropriate.
• Document progress and complete reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, teachers, administrators, and other school professionals.
