Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide second-line IT support for desktop and laptop environments in York, Maine. This on-site role supports the Information Technology department and contributes to stability and performance of user systems.

You will resolve hardware/software issues, assist in deployments, and create useful documentation while maintaining a strong customer focus and effective communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or relevant combination of training and experience preferred.
• 4–6 years of desktop support experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS, Exchange, Office, Citrix, VPN, SQL, IIS is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve desktop and laptop hardware problems.
• Perform initial network troubleshooting and determine escalation paths.
• Resolve virus issues and implement preventative measures.
• Assist in system deployments and software load.
• Manage incidents escalated from first-line support.
• Create and maintain support documentation.
• Suggest project improvements for better services.
• Assist in intranet/web page development and maintenance.
• Maintain web support resources (hints, tips, FAQs).
