Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Arvada, CO. This contract-based, on-demand role covers desktop, laptop, network connectivity, and peripheral devices with timely and accurate service delivery.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting Windows environments, and documenting activities for the service delivery team.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
Basic networking understanding (LAN, switches, routers).
Ability to diagnose desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in on-site environments.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
