Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer for on-demand, on-site IT support in Londonderry, NH. This independent contractor/part-time role focuses on responsive troubleshooting of Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity at client sites.

Responsibilities include hardware installation, basic network troubleshooting, job logging, and adherence to client IT policies. Candidates should be able to work independently and travel to assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktops and laptops.
• Hardware troubleshooting and replacement experience.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at client locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, OS, and enterprise software.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures on-site.
