Job summary

Axiom Technologies in Kirkland, WA is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, and perform hardware installation and configuration at client locations.

The role is contract-based (dispatch / part-time) with no guaranteed hours. You will work with the Service Delivery Team and must be able to communicate effectively and follow

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Basic LAN connectivity and network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in onsite support environments.
• Familiarity with on-site hardware installation and replacement.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
