Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to deliver on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Augusta, GA. This contract-based, on-demand role requires hands-on assistance with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network connectivity at the client location.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring adherence to client IT policies. Immediate start with flexible dispatch scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktops and peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge and LAN troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently onsite.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support at client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, OS, and enterprise software.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
