Job summary

Endeavors in Austin is seeking a DCM Resource Coordinator to support Disaster Case Management by identifying and expanding community resources for disaster survivors. On-site role requiring travel as needed; this position partners with Case Managers and community partners to keep resource information current.

You will conduct outreach, build relationships with VOAD/COAD, maintain a resource database, and ensure compliance with FEMA standards while providing warm hand-offs and client-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience may be substituted.
• Experience in outreach, community engagement, or disaster response preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactive outreach to identify local resources for disaster survivors.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and VOAD/COAD members.
• Attend VOAD/COAD and community meetings; add at least 10 resources monthly to the program database.
• Maintain a comprehensive, accurate database of community resources.
• Coordinate daily with supervisor and Data Entry Specialist to ensure database integrity.
• Identify service gaps and pursue new partnerships to address unmet needs.
• Provide Case Managers with current resource information for IRPs.
• Facilitate warm hand-offs between clients and resource providers.
• Educate clients about resources and the disaster recovery process; track referrals and client satisfaction.
• Uphold professionalism and adhere to FEMA/organizational guidelines.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethics; avoid misrepresentation of services.
• Submit timely reports on outreach, development, and gaps identified.
• Provide updates to leadership for program evaluation; ensure accuracy of documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Disaster Case Management program.
