Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician to support mission-critical infrastructure on-site at our Carolina, PR facilities. You will handle hardware installations, cabling, server racks, and cross-connects while coordinating with NOC and client teams.

The role requires 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong Cabling skills, and proficiency with Dell/HP/Supermicro hardware. On-site work with on-call rotation and growth opportunities is included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
