Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Gretna, NE team. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, and support capacity planning in a full-time on-site role.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills, and comfort with documentation and incident troubleshooting. On-site work with on-call rotations and access to professional development and certification sponsorship is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a and OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) preferred.
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA) preferred.
• DCIM platforms knowledge preferred.
• ITIL practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking.
