Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Spring, TX is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, perform structured cabling, and support capacity planning while ensuring documentation and asset tracking are up to date.

The role requires 3+ years in data center operations; certifications (CDCP/CDCS/CDCE) and vendor certs (Dell, HPE, Cisco) are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience
• Experience with cabling (Cat6/6a, fiber) and rack/stack
• Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
