Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Westland, US is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support mission-critical facilities on-site. You will install, rack, and service servers, manage cabling, and collaborate with NOC and client teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years data center or IT infra experience, strong cabling skills, experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers, and relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+. Excellent English communication and on-site mobility are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional communication skills in English.
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, decommission, and migrate hardware
• Rack, stack, and label servers
• Perform cross-connects and patch panels
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
• Adhere to safety and on-site procedures
