Job summary

Unisys is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center servers and hardware in Lithia Springs, GA. You will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain server components, working directly with customers to minimize downtime and ensure reliable AI infrastructure readiness.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience with rack-mounted servers, BIOS/firmware updates, and proficient use of server management tools; Linux familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers and data center hardware.
• Experience with rack-mounted enterprise servers in data center, field service, or customer environments.
• Experience with hardware diagnostics, BIOS/firmware updates, and server management tools.
• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform hardware installation, removal, replacement, and configuration, including components like memory, CPUs, storage, GPUs.
• Troubleshoot server hardware, BIOS/firmware, OS, and hardware diagnostics issues; perform firmware updates.
• Document service activities and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and communicate status to customers and teams.
