Job summary

SpaceXAI designs and maintains electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses. The Design Engineer on the Data Center team will work with a small on-site crew in Memphis, TN, to scale high-capacity power systems according to compute demand.

Responsibilities include creating diagrams, performing load calculations, sizing equipment, and supporting field changes while ensuring safety standards and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of electrical design experience in data center, industrial, or utility facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules.
• Size MV/LV transformers, switchgear, busway, and feeders; specify ratings.
• Prepare equipment specifications and bid evaluations.
• Support field RFIs and design changes during construction.
• Ensure NFPA 70, 70B, 70E, NESC, and IEEE standards compliance.
