Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks a Power System Engineer to design, operate, and maintain electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses. Based in Memphis, TN, you will scale high-capacity power systems with a small on-site team, traveling up to 25% to other sites as needed.

You will own the Memphis campus model, perform load flow and short-circuit studies, and develop standardized cases for islanding, storage, and black start, while ensuring safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• Experience in high-power, high-voltage systems and protection schemes.
• Licensure as a PE or plan to obtain it is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Memphis campus model: load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, harmonics, and EMT studies.
• Develop and maintain site-wide power budgets, metering, and monitoring.
• Create one-line and three-line diagrams and update models post-commissioning.
• Feed interconnection studies and relay settings from the master model.
• Develop standardized study cases for storage, islanding, and black start.
• Ensure NFPA 70/70B/70E, NESC, and IEEE compliance; prioritize safety.
