Job summary

You will handle rack and stack, cabling, hardware validation, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability. The role emphasizes hands-on work, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in production data center or critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience with installation and deployment of data center hardware and supporting infrastructure.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and supporting infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure issues in a production environment.
• Ability to work onsite consistently and support operational needs as required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, movement, and maintenance of infrastructure supporting daily technology operations.
• Perform rack and stack activities, structured cabling, labeling, and hardware validation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting equipment, infrastructure, and system functionality.
• Provide hands-on support for infrastructure initiatives, updates, and deployments.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation, inventory records, and asset tracking.
• Adhere to operating practices, workflows, and safety guidelines.
• Support operational needs and help resolve technical concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for planned maintenance and initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to increase efficiency and improve processes/documentation.
