Job summary

Blueprint Technologies in Redmond, WA seeks a hands-on Lead Data Center Operations & Systems Technician to guide deployments and incident response across servers, network, storage, and cabling. Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations or equivalent mission-critical tech role.
• Advanced practical knowledge of enterprise servers, networks, storage, cabling, and imaging.
• Experience leading complex deployments, maintenance windows, and incident response.
• Ability to mentor technicians and drive knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex installation, rack, cabling, and deployment across servers, network devices, storage, and power systems.
• Act as escalation point for hardware, software, imaging, and network issues; drive root-cause analysis.
• Review health metrics, tickets, and logs; define actions and follow-ups.
• Configure switches, firewalls, IPs, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and domain access within change controls.
• Lead server imaging and deployment using MDT, WDS, PXE; manage patching and baselines.
• Own technical planning for installations, windows, rollout sequencing, and readiness.
• Prioritize resources across competing demands based on urgency and risk.
• Review backups and recovery evidence; ensure procedures support recovery needs.
• Create and maintain high-quality procedures, diagrams, and inventory controls.
• Provide direction and training to junior technicians; ensure safe execution on-site.
• Represent data center ops in readiness and incident reviews with stakeholders.
