Job summary

Blueprint Technologies is seeking a Lead Data Center Operations & Systems Technician in Redmond, WA. This hands-on lead role directs complex data center operations, deployments, maintenance, and incident response across servers, networks, storage, and supporting systems.

You will provide technical direction, coordinate resources, and drive improvements in documentation and processes. You will guide junior technicians, manage readiness, and ensure compliance with security and safety protocols

Qualifications

Five or more years of hands-on data center ops and infrastructure experience.
Experience with server, network, storage, cabling, and imaging deployments.
Ability to plan, coordinate resources, and drive incidents to resolution.

Responsibilities

Lead complex installations, cabling, configuration, and decommissioning across servers and network gear.
Serve as escalation point for hardware, software, imaging, and network issues; perform root-cause analysis.
Review health, alerts, tickets, and logs; identify risks and set action plans.
Configure switches, firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and domain access within change controls.
Lead server imaging and deployment; oversee patching, firmware, and baseline configurations.
Own technical planning for installations and deployments, including readiness criteria and rollback plans.
Prioritize equipment and resources based on urgency, risk, and business needs.
Review backups and recovery evidence; close gaps to support recovery.
Develop and maintain technical procedures, network diagrams, and inventory controls.
Oversee project and asset tracking; produce reports for stakeholders.
Identify trends and drive continuous-improvement actions.
Mentor junior technicians and provide knowledge transfer.
Represent data center ops in readiness and incident reviews; communicate risks clearly.
