Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center infrastructure and Dell server environments, including next-generation AI platforms. This hands-on, customer-facing role maintains server uptime, performs hardware maintenance, troubleshoots complex issues, and delivers high-quality on-site support.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in data center or server support, Linux familiarity, and the ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in data center, field service, enterprise IT, or server support.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise server hardware.
• Experience with server deployments, hardware replacements, and builds.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for enterprise server and data center hardware.
• Perform server installations, builds, hardware swaps, and component replacements.
• Replace CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, and complete server systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and OS issues.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Document work with accurate service records.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Participate in on-call support and flexible schedules.
• Continuously learn new technologies, including AI infrastructure.
