Cedar Investment Group (CIG) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction and data center projects in Chester, VA. This role requires hands-on leadership in construction execution, vendor coordination, and stakeholder management with a strong focus on document control and change management.

You will oversee planning, design, execution, commissioning, and turnover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting safety and client

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years in commercial construction and/or data center projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex builds with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED accreditation are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of data center and commercial construction projects from planning through turnover.
• Manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and contract adherence.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, manage RFIs and submittals, and track changes and approvals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost reports; ensure financial discipline.
• Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure safety and codes compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership to align projects with company strategy and client needs.
