Job summary

Cedar Investment Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and delivery of data center development and construction projects in the Lancaster, PA area. You will work with project managers and senior leadership to manage workstreams, schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients, with a focus on risk management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CM/Engineering/Architecture/Real Estate Development or related field.
• 2–4 years in construction/project management, with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage assigned workstreams from planning through construction and turnover.
• Support PM with plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams, designers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and issues; propose solutions to keep project on track.
• Maintain milestone trackers, logs, and project controls.
• Participate in meetings and document decisions and follow-ups.
• Ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence on site.
