Job summary

Span Construction & Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a Data Center project based in Lebanon, Indiana.

This on-site role focuses on supporting the Project Manager with scheduling, documentation, and coordination throughout a 24-month lifecycle. You will gain hands-on experience in controls, communications, and the technical aspects of construction, collaborating with design, engineering, and field teams to deliver on time, within scope, and in alignment with safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with construction project controls, scheduling, and documentation.
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with objectives and client expectations.
• Coordinate design, engineering, and construction teams for seamless execution.
• Manage contracts, drawings, specs, and project correspondence.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare status reports and communicate with stakeholders regularly.
• Identify issues early and work with the PM to implement solutions.
