Job summary

HDR is seeking an On-Site Engineer/Representative for a large data center project in Lebanon, Indiana. You will serve as the single point of communication during construction, coordinating between owner, design team, and contractor, and reviewing design documents for conformity.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, construction document literacy, and the ability to work in a field setting with a collaborative, employee-owned team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordination among owner, design team and contractor.
• Familiarity with construction codes, contracts and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of communication during the construction phase.
• Manage design and construction documents and revision control.
• Coordinate across multiple design disciplines.
• Elevate issues to the design team when necessary.
• Facilitate daily communication among owner, design team, and contractor.
• Perform field observations and construction-phase services safely.
