Job summary

CBRE DirectLine, part of CBRE Data Center Solutions, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to drive delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects at a site. You will develop program schedules, manage resources, and coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams to meet milestones, budgets, and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3+ years' experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 1–3+ years of direct work experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling.
• Track record of delivering mission-critical programs on time and within budget.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; contract negotiation is a plus.
• Experience building and leading teams; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage program schedule with milestones and ensure targets for schedule, cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Consult with clients, deliver presentations, resolve issues, and identify new service opportunities.
• Prepare budgets, cost tracking reports, and invoicing; manage materials, subcontractors, and purchasing.
• Direct and supervise project teams onsite and in office, coordinating with design, construction, and vendor partners.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and financial plans; ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
