Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Dallas is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing data center team. This full-time, site-based role supports delivering large-scale mission-critical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with experienced Project Managers, contractors and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
• Mission critical or data center experience preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or MS Project desirable.
• Ability to work full-time on site in the Dallas area.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Maintain a full-time on-site presence supporting daily construction activities.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and client stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Attend coordination meetings and drive actions to completion.
• Perform regular site walks to monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Support schedule, cost, risk and issue management.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and meeting minutes.
• Support procurement, commissioning, punch list management and project turnover.
• Build strong client relationships and represent Turner & Townsend professionally.
