Job summary

Holmen Cheese LLC is seeking a Lead Customer Service Specialist in La Crosse, WI. The role oversees the customer service function, ensuring accurate sales orders, timely responses, and cross-department collaboration.

Expect hands-on work in the plant and occasional warehouse duties as part of delivering exceptional guest experiences. The position requires strong computer skills (Excel, ERP, Outlook) and the ability to assist in coordinating shipments and sample handling, with occasional lifting

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with multiple departments.
Good computer skills, including Excel, ERP, Outlook.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience: answer calls/emails, greet visitors, ensure reception areas are provided and clean.
Customer Service/Sales: support sales team, maintain relationships, process orders in ERP.
Supply Chain: help coordinate outbound shipments and assist drivers in directions.
Purchasing: support procurement and track product movement and shipment costs.
Non-Essential Duties: assist with shipping documentation and participate in routine meetings.
Other: perform duties as assigned; typically Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
