Job summary

Klondike Cheese Co. is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales and Marketing team and manage key processes from onboarding to order fulfillment. You will collaborate with customers, brokers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure accurate data and timely deliveries.

This role emphasizes organized administration, attention to detail, and strong communication while coordinating freight and trade show activities. On-site position near Monroe, WI.

Qualifications

• Associat e degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Marketing Department.
• Onboard new customers and maintain customer information within company systems.
• Assist with customer account setup, new item launches, pricing updates, and account maintenance.
• Process credit applications and create customer records.
• Maintain accurate customer data and files; coordinate with brokers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate freight shipments and customer deliveries; maintain relationships with logistics partners.
• Assist with order entry, changes, confirmations, and customer communications.
• Support trade show planning, registrations, and event logistics.
• Prepare export documentation for international shipments and maintain portals/web store locator data.
