Job summary

Nutrien Crop Consultant in Tyrone, PA (16686) on-site is seeking an Associate to grow our agricultural inputs business. You will develop new prospects, interact with growers, and help meet sales and profit goals.

You’ll ensure customer satisfaction, coordinate deliveries, support proprietary products, review credits, and assist with accounts receivable while advising customers on best agronomic solutions. Candidates typically hold a university degree or have 5+ years agriculture experience;

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, or 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in agriculture industry and application of agricultural chemicals is favorable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time delivery and quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions.
• Perform initial credit review of customers and provide information to Credit Manager.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
