GEO Corrections & Detentions in Texas is seeking a licensed dentist to provide and supervise dental care for detainees within the facility. You will assess oral health needs, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliance with health standards.

This on-site, full-time role includes maintaining records in the Electronic Health Records system, collaborating with hospital medical staff, and delivering patient education on oral hygiene. Experience in correctional settings preferred.

Qualificações

• Must be able to deal effectively with detainees/inmates and staff at times.
• Demonstrate the ability to adjust medical techniques for the correctional setting, including communication with medical/detention staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provides and supervises the complete dental care of facility detainees/inmates.
• Maintains dental records and uses the Electronic Health Records system.
• Performs dental procedures such as cleaning, drilling, fillings, and extractions in accordance with standards.
• Develops treatment plans and educates patients on oral health and prevention.
