The GEO Group is seeking a licensed Dentist to provide and supervise the complete dental care for facility detainees. You will evaluate and improve the facility dental health program and serve as a consultant to the facility medical team.

This is a 1099 contractor position with forty hours per week, requiring a dental degree and active license. You will work closely with staff to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with health standards.

Formación

• Degree in dentistry from an accredited dental school.
• Professional license must remain on file at all times at the facility where services are rendered.
• Ability to work effectively with detainees/inmates and staff in a correctional setting.

Responsabilidades

• Initiates and maintains compliance with company policies for accreditation.
• Completes an initial dental screening on all new commitments within seven days.
• Evaluates patients and creates treatment plans after exams; liaises with outside labs for prostheses.
• Performs routine cleaning, drilling, filling, and extraction following standards.
• Maintains health records with a focus on privacy and proper documentation.
• Collaborates with Hospital medical team and health professionals to optimize care.
