Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a licensed dentist to provide and supervise dental care for facility detainees/inmates at our Georgia location.

The role includes initial screenings, treatment planning, and collaboration with the facility medical team to ensure compliant, high-quality dental services. As a 1099 contractor, you will work a 40-hour week, maintain patient records, educate patients on oral health, and stay current with professional standards while serving a correctional population in

Qualifications

• Degree in dentistry from an accredited dental school.
• Licensed to practice as a dentist in the state.
• Ability to work with detainees and staff in a correctional setting.
• Adjust medical techniques for the correctional population.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains compliance with company policies for accreditation.
• Completes an initial dental screening on new commitments within seven days.
• Evaluates patients and creates clinically appropriate treatment plans.
• Performs routine dental procedures and educates patients on oral health.
