Pinion in Northern Colorado seeks a hands-on Controller to lead accounting across multiple entities, drive consolidation, and strengthen internal controls. You will own the close processes and deliver reliable financial information to support growth.

This role combines strategic leadership with daily accounting execution, offering visibility to executives and the chance to build scalable processes and systems that future-proof the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
• Experience across multiple entities and consolidated reporting.
• Experience establishing internal controls.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management experience.
• Ability to communicate financial information to executives.
• CPA license or public accounting background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations across multiple affiliated entities, including consolidated financial reporting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and controls.
• Partner with external tax and advisory partners as the primary contact.
