Job summary

HazTek Inc. in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Safety Specialist to provide on-site safety oversight for a commercial construction project. You will work with field crews and project leadership to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and support compliance with the project safety plan.

Responsibilities include conducting site walks, documenting safety observations, communicating concerns, and assisting with safety meetings and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction safety experience; high-rise experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR required.
• CHST preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site walks and document safety observations.
