Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Specialist to provide on-site safety oversight for a commercial construction project in New Brunswick, NJ. You will work with field crews and leadership to identify hazards, promote safe practices, and support compliance with the project safety plan.

Responsibilities include site walks, documenting observations, communicating concerns, and assisting with safety meetings and incident reporting. OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are required; CHST is preferred.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required for safety oversight roles.
• First Aid/CPR certification is required on site.
• Strong verbal communication and clear written reporting are essential.
