Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Specialist for an on-site role in New Brunswick, NJ. You will work with field crews and project leadership to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and support compliance with the project safety plan.

Responsibilities include site walks, reporting safety observations, and assisting with safety meetings and incident reporting. OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are required; CHST preferred.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction safety experience; high-rise experience preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR required
• CHST preferred
• Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
