Job summary

HazTek Safety Management seeks a Safety Professional to provide on-site safety support for a building improvement project. You will work with project personnel and contractors to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting site walks, reviewing activities for hazards, and reporting safety concerns. You will participate in safety meetings, assist with incident reporting, and maintain safety documentation

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and fall protection.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working with contractors in active construction environments.
• Embodies HazTek's core values of integrity, compassion, dependability, leadership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site walks and document safety observations.
• Review work activities for potential hazards, with attention to lockout/tagout and fall protection.
• Communicate safety concerns to field crews and project leadership and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in safety meetings and assist with incident reporting as needed.
• Maintain project safety documentation and support compliance with applicable regulations.
