Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee on-site safety programs for a Casey, IL construction project.

You will promote a strong safety culture, lead the on-site safety team, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety plans. Responsibilities include incident investigations, safety inspections, and coordination with project personnel to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety (or related field) or 3+ years' construction safety experience.
• OSHA 500/510 or equivalent certification preferred.
• CSP and/or CHST certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture and oversee safety administration for on-site personnel.
• Lead on-site safety team and coordinate with project managers and foremen.
• Collaborate with project teams to address risks to personnel, operations, and assets.
• Investigate incidents, conduct safety inspections, and document findings.
